‘The Secrets of the Cornhusk Doll’ is a children’s picture book written by T.J. Arias and published by Palmetto Publishing.
While visiting Abuelita, Lochita unlocks a positive self-image through the discovery of an unlikely magical source- a doll made of cornhusks built from materials donated by the inspirational women of the community.
During her summer vacation, Lochita visits her grandma in a distant town.
While playing dress-up in the attic, Lochita finds an old box with a mysterious doll inside. She runs to show grandma her discovery!
